Ambalin Dhyanam

Meditating on Goddess Ambal's feet is the highest form of worship. If we embark on such meditation our life's mission will be fulfilled.We should not die a like ordinary animals, which does not know what it means to live or die.When our sole departs our body, we must be in a state of Peace and Ananda.To mediate on on Goddess Ambals' feet we need food (to keep our body in tact), job.If we choose to ingnore this requirement, we do not need to get married and have children.

A person born in this world must die.If all of us die at the same time it is still called death. Therefore however we die, death is death. But even in death there is a difference. The way we die could be different. Constantly meditating on the lotus feet of Goddess Ambal, gives eternal peace.The death which follows post state "attaining eternal peace" does not fall within the defenition of "Death", in the conevntional sense. This is called "AMRITHAM".

The purpose of getting married and bearing child is to bring a new soul on this earth. This gives a chance to the new born to pursue the concept of "AMRITHAM". KAMA is given to every individual for this purpose only. It is not meant for his personal pleasures.

Our tongue has taste buds in them. If our tongue becomes paralysed, we will be eating anything and everything. It is because of this taste buds, we choose different types of tasty food and relish them. Eating tasty foods is not main purpose of our life. Taste buds, allows u distinguish between good and bad food. We require this limited feature/capability of the taste bud to grow our body.

If a child is not born at all, then neither the concept of "Moksha" comes into picture, nor is the new born afflicted with ills of "Kama", "Krodha", "Lobha", "Moha", "Madha" and "Mathsarya". Why then bring in a new born to the earth? If the purpose of Kama is to bring a child to earth and give him a chance to attain "Moksha", what is it's use?

When a tree bears a fruit, it has within it a seed. A good tree can bear about 300 to 400 fruits. Why does the fruit contain seed within it? This is because each of the seed has the capability of being a tree by itself. Does this mean all of the seeds become tree? The answer is "No". If the answer were to be in affirmative, then this earth would be filled only with trees. Not all of the fruits become a tree. One amongst them grow to be a full-fledged "tree".

Same is true of many human beings that are born. Even if one amongst the millions born attain completeness, it is a sufficient reasons for the others to be born. That one soul is the "Sakti" for the rest. The purpose of "Kama" is to bring this "one in million soul" to the earth. To bring to this world this one "Sakti" are the requirements of many "Kama", "Dukha", "Disease". It is after many "Janma" a jyani comes into me"

"बहूनाम जन्मनाम अन्ते ज्ञानवान माम प्रपध्यते "

In the villages, there is a very famous sport of climbing a pole made of wood। The wood is greased making it difficult to climb। A group of 10 or 20 make an attempt to climb. It is a co-ordinated effort, where one uses others help (the climber stands on the shoulder of the other). After a repeated failure, one of them finally reach the top. In the same way in-spite of many people, if one amongst us attain success success "completeness", there is no need for so many temples, religion and propaganda about other religion. The same is true for so many births. If one amongst us attain "completeness", our janma becomes the most rewarding.

It is important that we keep our body clean. It serves no purpose, if the cloth that we wear alone is clean. In the same way it is important to keep our mind clean. It servers no purpose, if the house is clean. To keep our mind pure we must, we must constantly pray at the lotus feet of AMBAL.

We believe that we must protect our religion. Every one is taking effort to protect their religion. Money is spent to convert people from one religion and to another. A question would arise, whether Hindus also should resort to such methods.

Wealth cannot be sole strength of a religion. Hinduism thrives during the days when there is peace. It is never known to thrive during the period of famine or war. Thus even if crores perish, even if one amongst the crore achieve "completeness", that is the sole strength of our religion. It is the devine grace of this one noble soul the entire world will attain prosperity. To produce this one soul, we preach and talk so much. The idea is to create the concept of "Bhakti" amoungst people.

We know when "Budhism", "Christianity", "Islam" came into being. It is often said, before these religion came into being, the world was in darkness, and there were no Jyanis. Men and Women were living like animals. But if one makes deeper study of history, it shows that even before these religion came into being, there was a religion which had the "VEDAS" as it's basis. "Vedas" persisted everywhere. With the passage of time the study of VEDAS have also diminished. Every one of us now need to pray on the lotus feet of AMBAL. This is the only way to revive the VEDAS.

If every one of us chant or pray silently on the Manta Upedesam like "GAYATRI", "PANCHAKSHRAM", "ASHATKSHARAM", which we have received, there is no need for us to fear or worry about other religion. If millions and millions of people resort to the praying the mantra to which we were initiated, a few of us (possibly one or two) may attain completeness. This is sufficient for "Loka Kshema" and for the well fare of our religion. Let me re-emphasise, there is no alternative for us but to pray on the LOTUS FEET OF AMBAL. If leave this aside and resort to religious propaganda, that religion can never grow.

There are means by which we can test ourselves. This is through the medium called "DREAM". When we are awake, we are doing some work or the other. When we fall asleep the body is at rest. Do we see "AMBAL KAMKSHI" in our dream? Or do we dream of crying fearing a thief? Or is it we are constantly bullied by "KAMA" in our dream. One who pretends to be in "Dhyana" outwardly, will dream of only Kama and thief. One who is meditating truly in the lotus feet of AMBAL, he will dream of meditating in the lotus feet of AMBAL. We can test our Bakthi this way every day.

Hinduism has grown due to "Bakti" and "Dhyana" and the attempt made by many of us to cleanse our sould (ATMA SUDDHI). In spite of religious propaganda by other religion, wars fought on the basis of religion and usage of money power, our religion has survived many such on-slaught. What is the reason? There is one great soul amongst us which has attained "PURANATVAM". His very sight makes one stand up in reverence with BAKTHI. It is because of this one personae, our belief in out religion grows.

We cannot follow the path of religious propaganda followed by other religions. Our religion did not evolve that way.

There is a saying in VEDAS. When tress start bearing flowers, beetles throng the tree on their own volition. In the same way, if all us make an attempt to test ourselves, and in this process one amongst us attain completeness, this entire world act according to his words. We do not require any propaganda for this.

At this point in time, it is imperative we apply our mind to the lotus feet of "AMBAL". If we start doing so there will be no threat to our religion. Even if there is a threat, it cannot be because of other religion. The threat to our religion is because of our lack of "ANUSHTANA" within us. This is analogous to the disease which strike us, because we become week due to old age. In the same way, the threat to our religion is due to our lack of "ANUSHTANA" within us.

How many of us perform "SHIVAPUJAI", "PANCHAKSHRAM" to day? There are very few who perform these puja. We lack experience in our thoughts and actions. We are like a library, which is evolved to protect and preserve books. We are good at protecting and preserving the books. We have lost the ability to read and understand them. Because of this the believers of our religion has dwindled in numbers. In short the reason the growth of other religion is purely because of our lack of "ANUSHATANA"

We must all pray at the lotus feet of AMBAL. To me AMBAL is important. I pray daily at the lotus feet of AMBAL for the LOKA KSHEMA. All of us must do so. AMBAL and ESHWARA togther become "ARSHA NARISHWARA". "Brahma, Siva and Vishnu" are different swarupas of the same Brahman. In spite of their different Swarupas, they are one and the same. It is this one Paramatma, which take different swarupas for "Loka Anugraha". In SARASWATI Ashtothram,

ब्रह्माविश्नुशिवात्मिकायै नमः

Lakshmi Ashtothram also says the same thing. In LALITHA SAHSRANAMAM, AMBAL is protrayed as creater (SHRISHTI KARTHRI), Govinda Rupini. We must understand this, pray on her lotus feet and safegaurd our religion.

The Hindu religion was prevelent throughtout the world. Now it is a different story. If one amoungst us attain "Completeness", there is a possibility of this religion being all pervading the world. We must all strive for the same. Once we are redeemed of the deficiencies with in us, there is no need of relgious propoganda. The deficiencies within us must be solved by ourselves. We must pray every day at the lotus feet of AMBAL. The concept of eating, going to work to earn, having children are for parying at the lotus feet of AMBAL. We can die to day itself instead of tomorrow. Having children will hopefully bring about atleast one amoungst us will attain "PURANTVAM". I also want my religion to be all pervading, but i cannot resort to war to propogate the same.

There is no point in just saying we are "Brother and Sisters". The feeing of being "Brothers and Sisters", can come about only if all believe and feel that we all have one Parent. If often hear of Kalidasa's famous saying,

जगतः पिथरौ वंदे पर्वथिपरामेश्वरौ

There are many who are parents to 3 or 4 children. But if all understand that "PARVATHI' AND "PARAMESHWARA" are our Parents, the thought of brotherhood will prevail amoungst all of us. Our ill-feelings, Dwesha, Hatred, Enimity, will cease to exist, if we understand thet there if only one "JAGAN MATA".

Till there are deficiencied within us, we cannot not indulge in Propoganda. If we attain completeness, Propoganda is not necessary. I also dont have to preach this way. But by talking this way, these thought process come to me spontaneously. It enables to cleanse me. I pray at the loys feet of AMABAL, to make my thoughts a reality. Where i come across deficiencies with in me, i appeal to Goddess AMBAL, to remove these deficiencies. First we must not commit any mistakes. We must perform our Anushtana without fail every day and pray on the lotus feet of AMBAL. If we do so, none of us will face harship. We must strive for the same.

We preach about the possibility of one "Enlightened Soul" in every generation. We preach this concept as well. This is like trying to preserve a book which we cannot read, in the hope that the preserved book will be usefull to our children!! If all of us like KALIDASA accept that there is only one MOTHER, then there is no need of religion and so many arguments!! LET US ALL PRAY AT THE LOTUS FEET OF AMBAL FOR THE SAME.
